OVERVIEW FCGA's Tournament Players Program is designed to mentor junior golfers and their parents through the junior golf process. In the Tournament Player Program, FCGA personally assists the golfer with tournament scheduling, allowing the golfer to obtain the optimum combination of regional success while also gaining maximum national exposure. The Tournament Players Program helps golfers build resumes, achieve national rankings and gain valuable tournament experience. FCGA helps the golfer and his/her family understand the importance of the different levels of competition, assists with AJGA Performance Based Entry, and orchestrates travel plans. Additionally, FCGA advises the junior golfer on goal setting techniques, practice schedules fitness, and college preparation. The Tournament Players Program also helps junior golfers establish friendships through golf. Members have the opportunity to play, practice and travel with other members of the same age and competitive ability.
TOURNAMENT PLANNING & SCHEDULING The Tournament Players Program saves parents time and money. Using a, interactive website, the program helps parents know which tournaments will be the most beneficial for their son or daughter. FCGA's staff provides individualized guidance about tournaments and travel. The website also provides instant information and applications about national and local tournaments throughout the United States. Finally, FCGA makes group travel arrangements, allowing parents to avoid missing work, while allowing their child to play in national events.

MENTORING The Tournament Players program provides personal advice to junior golfers and their parents about all aspects of the junior golf process. Players will receive guidance on practice, tournament play, goal setting, and academic preparation for college.
